These terms explain how you can use our website and what to expect when you apply to drive with us, request a quote or receive text messages from us. We kept them as plain as we could — if anything is unclear, just call.
01 Who we are
Kastel Trans LLC (“Kastel Trans,” “we,” “us”) is a for-hire motor carrier based in Fort Worth, Texas, registered with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (MC-65990680 · USDOT 7182536).
These terms apply to this website, to driver applications sent through it, and to the calls, emails and text messages we exchange with you about an application or a load. By using the site, submitting a form or giving us your phone number, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site.
02 Using this website
- The site gives general information about our services and open driving positions. We keep it as accurate as we can, but lanes, equipment, pay and openings change — nothing here is a binding offer.
- Please use the site lawfully: don’t try to break its security, overload or scrape it, send spam or harmful code, or submit someone else’s information without their permission.
- The Kastel Trans name, logo, photos, text and design belong to us or our licensors. Please don’t copy or reuse them without written permission.
03 Shipping & freight services
Quote requests and conversations are not binding. We accept a load only once both sides agree in writing — usually a signed rate confirmation or carrier agreement.
That document, together with the bill of lading and applicable federal law, governs rates, accessorials, payment terms and liability for loss of or damage to cargo. If anything on this website conflicts with it, the signed document controls.
04 Driver applications
- Information you submit must be true and complete. False or missing information can end the hiring process — or the working relationship if it surfaces later.
- Sending an application doesn’t create an employment or contractor relationship, and doesn’t guarantee an interview, a position, or specific pay, home time or lanes.
- Federal rules require us to qualify every driver before the first dispatch. With your authorization, that includes a motor vehicle record review, verification of previous employers and safety performance history (49 CFR Part 391), a pre-employment drug test and a query of the FMCSA Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse (49 CFR Part 382), plus a valid CDL and DOT medical certificate.
- Company drivers work under our employment policies; owner-operators under a written lease or independent contractor agreement. Those documents set the specific terms of the relationship.
05 Our standards on the road
Everyone who drives for Kastel Trans agrees to operate under FMCSA and DOT regulations and our written work rules, which are handed out at orientation. In short:
- Accidents & incidents
- Report any accident, injury, cargo damage or spill to dispatch right away — and to the police where required. Every incident is reviewed for preventability; a serious or unreported incident can mean removal from service.
- Equipment
- Complete and document pre- and post-trip inspections, report defects and breakdowns immediately and keep up with scheduled maintenance and annual inspections (49 CFR Part 396). Company equipment is for authorized loads only — no personal use and no unauthorized passengers.
- Hours of service
- Drive within hours-of-service limits and keep an accurate electronic log at all times (49 CFR Part 395). Editing or falsifying logs is never acceptable.
- Drugs & alcohol
- Zero tolerance on duty and in company equipment. Random, post-accident and reasonable-suspicion testing is part of the job.
- Behind the wheel
- No hand-held phone use or texting while driving, no radar detectors, respect traffic laws and posted limits, and stay professional during roadside inspections.
- Loads & customers
- Treat shippers, receivers and the public with courtesy, protect the freight, keep bills of lading and delivery receipts accurate, and never abandon a load or cancel it without telling dispatch first.
It works both ways: no one at Kastel Trans will ask you to break a safety rule to make a delivery. If a load can’t be run legally and safely, say so and we’ll re-plan it.
Violations are handled case by case — from coaching and written warnings to suspension or termination — based on how serious they are and the driver’s history. The detailed rules, including any financial responsibility, are set out in your written agreement and handbook rather than on this page.
06 Text messages (SMS)
- Consent. When you opt in — for example by checking the optional text-message box on the driver application, or by telling a team member it’s fine to text you — you agree that Kastel Trans, and service providers acting for us, may text you.
- What we send. Updates about your application, onboarding paperwork, scheduling, dispatch and loads, and safety or account notices. We don’t send marketing texts without your separate consent.
- Frequency & cost. How often we text depends on your application or the loads you’re running. Message and data rates may apply under your mobile plan.
- Stop or get help. Reply STOP to any message to opt out — you’ll get one confirmation and nothing more unless you opt back in. Reply HELP for help, or reach us at (817) 727-2450 or office@kasteltrans.us.
- Not required. Agreeing to texts is not a condition of applying, being hired or doing business with us — we can use phone or email instead.
- Your number. Only give us a number you own or are authorized to use, and let us know if it changes.
- Delivery. Mobile carriers aren’t liable for delayed or undelivered messages, and delivery isn’t guaranteed.
- Privacy. We never sell, rent or share mobile numbers or text-message consent with third parties for their marketing. See our Privacy Policy.
07 Third-party links
The site may link to other services, such as maps or government registries. We don’t control them and aren’t responsible for their content or how they handle your data.
08 Disclaimers & liability
The website is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no warranties about it and aren’t liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or our text messages. Nothing here limits liability that can’t be limited by law, and freight liability is governed by the documents described in section 03.
If you misuse the site, submit false information or break these terms, you agree to cover the reasonable costs and losses that causes us.
09 Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas and, where it applies, U.S. federal law. Unless a written agreement between us says otherwise, disputes will be handled in the state or federal courts serving Tarrant County, Texas.
10 Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as our business or the rules change. The date at the top shows the current version, and continuing to use the site after an update means you accept it. If we change how we text you in a meaningful way, we’ll tell you first.
